Rare and distinctive Marziale chandelier designed by Angelo Brotto and produced by Esperia in Italy during the 1970's. A remarkable example of Brotto's sculptural approach to lighting, the chandelier combines rich natural materials with refined metal detailing to create a bold architectural presence. The fixture is suspended from a six-arm, star-shaped ceiling canopy, from which six solid walnut columns are elegantly hung. Each column is capped at both ends with satin brass fittings and features finely carved recessed detailing that accentuates the warmth and texture of the wood. The composition achieves a striking balance between geometric rigor and organic material. Fitted with standard Edison screw sockets, the chandelier is shown with gold-tinted 25-watt golf-ball bulbs that emit a warm, ambient glow, beautifully complementing the walnut and brass finishes.
