Complete set of Grandjean-Jourdan’s faux bois tableware. This father and son team of post-WWII regional artists created their hand-painted pottery in the famed town of Vallauris, the same area where Braque’s and Pablo Picasso produced their own painted ceramics. Grandjean-Jourdan forms drew inspiration from nature. The wood grain painted glaze also has a surreal effect. Dimensions cups and saucers: Width 22 cm or 6.66 in. Depth 16 cm or 6.30 in.
