A pair of adjustable oak outdoor chairs is steeped in the French modernism of the 1950's. The Mid-Century Modern movement was rooted in functionality, simplicity, and elegance. Earlier many designers of the Bauhaus and Le Corbusier championed the concept that good design could be for everyone, this filtered into the ideology of mid-century designers. These outdoor chairs are an example of the post war revolution of modern design. The reed seated chairs can be adjusted in three comfortable positions; upright, relaxed and reclining similar to the deck chairs.
The positioning is easy adjustable with a slotting and locking system:
Position upright, Height 100 cm, Depth 62 cm, Seat Height 43 cm
Position relaxed, Height 91 cm, Depth 75 cm, Seat Height 37 cm
Position reclined, Height 70 cm, Depth 62 cm, Seat Height 26 cm.
