The composition captures a remarkable sense of personality, with confident line work and subtle and rapid detailing that bring the subjects vividly to life. This work is part of a rare series of four related drawings (as shown in image 7-8-9-10), each exploring a cats character and emotion with a distinct artistic sensitivity due to intense observation.
