Extraordinary set of trinket boxes / sculptures in abstracted forms of animals in the style of Danish designer Allan Scharff's sophisticated forms of animals. They are cast in solid heavy bronze and gold plated. They are a decorative gem and can hold small objects like jewelry. The artist cleverly made each box and each lid into an animal in its own right. They depict intimate couples of animals (from left to right); two nesting snakes with their heads stretching out, two swimming moorhens, the young one on top of the swimming mother, two nesting swans curling up in opposite directions with the beaks stuck under their wings
They can be sold as single and are priced individual.
