Sculptural organic table lamp designed and manufactured by artists and sculptor Michel Jaubert in France, 1970's. The body of the lamp is hand sculpted and cast in bronze and it has an original patina. It stands on a black marble base. The drum shape cream lamp shade when lit, shines a warm light over the bronze base and enhances the beautiful warm light. Michel Jaubert is a Postwar artist who was born in 1946. Since 1968 Michel Jaubert has been working furniture in polished bronze and aluminum and has created sculptures equally he as produced everyday objects, table lamps, floor lamps, sconces, cups tableware and furniture items such as tables. The artist Jaubert is expressive and sculptural in his creations. The lamp is marked M. Jaubert on the bronze.
