Minimalist lamps were designed in the 1970's at the height of the art movement Minimalism. It was a movement where the clean lines, the reductive, would transpire that the content was streamlined in form and structure.
The low voltage halogen light source is attached to a long arm holding a spherical shade. The arms of the lamps ate attached to a ball joint flexible to adjust up or down. The lampshades are also adjustable 180 degrees. The switch allows two positions of strong or softer light

The pair of brass lamps designed in the 1970's, timeless, in their simplicity and minimalism. The designer has cleverly created lights based on the circle, calculating the dimensions based on the larger curve of the arm, then the dimensions of the base are one third in diameter and the light source is one quarter. The lamp becomes this harmonic quiet energy of space and openness.
