Belgian artist Willy Daro founded his factory "Les Nouveaux Ateliers Willy Daro SPRL" in Brussels, Belgium in the early 1960s. His designs of the 1970s combined the Brutalist style with his passion for fossils & minerals. Daro’s designs are sophisticated, with luxurious materials and great attention to detail making each piece a unique sculptural work of art. Willy Daro’s factory closed in 1987. Today his work is both fashionable and limited making it highly sought after.
