Spiral wall sconces in the style of Henri Mathieu were manufactured by The Massive Lighting Company in Wilrijk, Belgium 1970's. One of these lights has a warm orange color inside and the other is white inside which influences the color of the light reflecting through the stainless steel slats. The lights both hold two light bulbs to spread the light evenly. Henri Mathieu, French designer who laid the foundations in 1962 for this lamp in the series "Spirale Cinetique" made his construction with aluminium slats and it was given a lot of attention in the design world. The design is also clearly influenced by the work of Verner Panton and the Space Age design.
