This large armadillo shaped vase is hand sculpted and decorated with a surface relief. Using a sculptural technique where carved dots from hard clay are attached to and cover surface of the bulbous shaped vessel. The mixture of mid blues and biscuit colors adds to the skin of the Studio Pottery and heightens the dynamic energy of this art piece. This mid century vase is stamped on the underside.
