A pair of spectacular push and pull door handles cast in bronze with unique abstract reliefs, made in the 1930’s, hung on the large entrance doors of a grand 120 year old manor house. The reliefs are anchored to a flat surface, like a wall. This ancient technique is a combination of the two-dimensional abstract art and the three-dimensional sculptural art. A slight undercutting gives emphasis, by means of cast shadow to an outline with dark patina.
The large plates can be used horizontally or vertically on large doors with a grip of about 3 cm all around the handle. Measures: 89 x 23 x 4 cm Material bronze
Weight of each ca. 25 kg Mounted each with eight standard 6 mm threaded bolts and nuts (not provided).
