Set of black Rosenthal porcelain vases marked Studio-line designed. Four are by Helmut Dresler (1927-2016), hand painted three in sliver geometric chequer design and one a V motif. One is by Elisa Fisher-Treyden (1901-1995). They all have a black gloss and mat surface and have an oval opening and a rectangular form. Helmut Dresler's works are in the State Museum for Porcelain in Selb-Plößberg and Hohenberg an der Eger , the Porzellanikon. His work combines craftsmanship with technical experiments and innovations. Elisa Fisher-Treyden painted vase with gold specks with a inner and outer gold linear squares. Part mat, part glazed gloss black at the front and back of the vases and oval opening square in form. Fisher was a product designer of Russian origin who migrated to Berlin in 1918. She studied at the United State Schools for Fine and Applied Arts between 1923 and 1932 . Later she designed unique products, bowls and vases made of bronze and ceramics. In 1948 and 1949 she studied industrial design with Wilhelm Wagenfeld at the Berlin University of the Arts Her works can be seen in the Porzellanikon in Selb, in the Museum of Modern Art, and in the Corning Museum of Glass.
